Therapy groups provide a unique experience of support and belonging that in itself can be transformative. Talking with people who have similar experiences or ways of coping can be powerful.

Each group is held fortnightly and runs for six weeks with continuity of members. As well as exploring the group theme, sometimes people explore relational dynamics within the group as they unfold in the here and now. This can bring to light a clearer understanding of your own experiences and how you may be experienced by others.

It is understandable to feel nervous or apprehensive about joining a group, so if you would like to discuss the therapy groups I offer, please do contact me.

Groups are run fortnightly in Lewes and Warnham. There are six sessions with a maximum of six participants per group. The fee is £240 (£40 per session).

They are held on Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Usually groups have a common theme and by exploring individual experiences which brought you to therapy group, this enables you to better understand yourself, your experiences and your relationships. Common themes in group work include anxiety, feeling like you don't belong, and loss.

Anxiety is a normal feature of being human, without it we'd be cold and calculating. However, if your anxiety levels create barriers and restrictions that you wish to overcome, understanding yourself more build self-confidence and emotional resilience which aid personal growth and change.
